Community Guidelines

Last updated July 21, 2026

Krovo is a place to meet real people. These guidelines apply to every profile, photo, message, and interaction on the Service. Breaking them can get your content removed and your account permanently banned, with no refund. In serious cases we cooperate with law enforcement. If a rule ever conflicts with our Terms of Service, the Terms control.

Zero tolerance

Krovo enforces a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any user found to violate the categories below will have their content removed and their account suspended or permanently banned, typically within 24 hours of a substantiated report.

Be real

  • Use your real name, real age, and recent photos of yourself. Group photos are fine as long as it's obvious which one is you.
  • No impersonation, catfishing, or misleading claims about who you are.
  • Verify your ID and complete the face scan to earn the verified and "not a catfish" badges.
  • One person, one account. Do not create secondary or throwaway accounts to evade a ban.

Be kind

  • No harassment, threats, bullying, or coordinated attacks on any user.
  • No hate speech, slurs, or content that dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
  • No unsolicited sexual messages. No nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit imagery — even in private chats.
  • Rejection is not a reason to lash out. Move on.

Be safe

  • Krovo is 18+. Reporting, contacting, or attempting to match with a minor is grounds for immediate permanent ban and referral to authorities.
  • No prostitution, escorting, sugar arrangements, or any commercial sexual solicitation.
  • No selling, buying, or promoting weapons, drugs, or other illegal goods.
  • No scams, phishing, crypto pumping, MLM recruitment, or moving people off the app to defraud them.
  • No violent, graphic, gore, self-harm, or shock content.
  • No sharing anyone's private information (yours or someone else's) — full address, phone number, ID, financial details.
  • Meet in public for a first date, tell a friend where you're going, and leave if anything feels off.

Photos and profile content

  • Photos must show you. No stock photos, memes as your only photo, or images of children as your primary photo.
  • No weapons in profile photos. No drug paraphernalia. No gang signs.
  • Bios must be your own words about yourself — not slogans, ads, or attacks on other groups.

AI-assisted messages

Krovo offers optional AI-suggested icebreakers and replies. Suggestions are a starting point — you are responsible for what you send. Do not use AI to spam, deceive, or generate content that would violate these guidelines.

Reporting and blocking

See something wrong? Tap the menu inside any chat or profile to Report or Block. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24 hours. Blocking prevents the other user from messaging you, matching with you, or seeing your profile. For urgent safety issues email safety@krovo.app. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How we enforce

Depending on the severity of the violation we may: remove the offending content, hide your profile from Discover, warn you, restrict features, suspend your account, or permanently ban you. Bans stick to the person, not just the account — creating a new account to evade a ban is itself a violation. We cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.

Appeals

If you believe an action was taken against your account in error, email safety@krovo.app from the address on the account with a brief explanation. We respond as quickly as possible; complex reviews may take longer.
